Epilepsy with seizures induced by movement: a rare reflex epilepsy

Seizures induced by movement are rare reflex seizures. We describe video-EEG recordings of seizures of a 48-year-old man affected by a structural epilepsy with motor seizures of the left harm induced by a maintained posture of the same arm, which could be interrupted by a voluntary movement of its. The aetiology of the epilepsy was a dysplastic lesion of the right prerolandic cortex. Seizures were refractory to drug therapy. To our knowledge, this is the first video recording of this kind of rare reflex seizure.
